Landscape photography captures the beauty and richness of natural ecosystems. During the summer I contract my services to land trusts and local governments as an ecological consultant, often performing natural features surveys, so my goal is to document as many unique habitats as possible. We are losing species worldwide at an alarming rate - faster than any other time in Earth's geologic history - and I want to document as many species and habitats as I can while they are still relatively intact. As you travel the countryside, please follow "leave-no-trace" principles: take only photos and leave only footprints. Be careful not to transport any non-native species, and pack out your trash.
